First for a mall in Singapore, dog owners can fully enjoy the 185m 2 dog run located on the SkyGarden situated on the rooftop for their dogs to exercise and play in an off-leash environment under the supervision of their owners. In addition, the introduction of a DoggieStyle Cafe allows pet owners and their pets to have a meal together after a day of fun.

In order to create the right environment to complement the shopping and dining experience, about 20,000m 2 of ThermalRock S120 together with 20mm VIVA cement board, were used in the construction of the roof in order to achieve an STC 51 acoustic system. To further enhance the building's acoustic performance, ThermalRock S was also used to insulate the HVAC's internal duct lining for additional sound absorption.

The use of ROXUL Bradflex flexible ducts helps provide an excellent thermal efficiency and coupled with the duct's smooth interior which presents low air resistance, creates a pleasant and stable indoor temperature throughout the day. As such, it would substantially reduce the air-conditioning load to achieve greater energy savings. Furthermore, with an outer aluminum laminate, it prevents the penetration of moisture laden air, guarding against condensation, rot or mildew.

Along with the other environmentally friendly features incorporated into the building such as energy efficient lifts and escalators, ROCKWOOL is glad to have played a part in supplying materials which contributes to the mall's estimated savings of more than 17% in energy consumption.
